Artist Mentoring
I provide mentoring to artists to help people develop their practice and creative methodologies in ways that are unique to each person, as well as thinking through and helping to develop strategies for creative agency and sustaining an art practice around factors such as financial stability.
The majority of people I mentor apply for or have secured funding (such as DYCP or A-N Bursary) to cover the cost.
Mentoring usually takes the form either of one or a series of one hour sessions in person or online, or longer half day or full day sessions, depending on the individual.
My rates follow Artist Union England recommendations.
Costs for 2025/2026:
£150 per hour in person (London)
£100 per hour online
£250 half day rate in person (London, min. 3 hours, max 3.5 hours)
£388 full day rate (London)
I tend to work with artists whose practices relate to any of the following themes, interests, and/or specialisations:

Text and writing
Visual cultures
Working class and folk cultures
Mythologies
Performance and interventions
Installation
Critical theories
Politics
Narratives and storytelling
Comedy, humour, and jokes
Neurodiversity

Between 2017 and 2023, I taught in the Drama department at Queen Mary University of London for 5 years, and on the Drama and Applied Theatre BA at UEL for 2 years. I have worked extensively as an artist educator since 2012, developing and facilitating creative workshops and programmes at Cubitt, Saatchi Gallery, Estorick Collection, Central Saint Martins, Cambridge Junction, Platform Youth Hub, and more. I mentored 4 young people for the social justice charity, Arts Emergency. I am currently a creative producer and facilitator with A Collective, an autistic-led social enterprise dedicated to developing better neurodivergent spaces.
I have been an Asssociate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2021.
